Its definitely a goer. All you nedd to do is turn up. Wether you go out on track depends if you can get booked in.
I shall go even if its just for the day.

Just an update, The saturday trackday is fully booked now. I didnt get in but its still a go for me on the saturday. Its a great Venue for a meeting anyway. It might be nice to have a rideout from there in the afternoon.
Few suggestions, The battle of britain Memorial flight is not far away at Conningsby just the other side of Horncastle.
Or not quite so far is the East lincs aviation trust at East Kirkby, where they have a Lancaster that does Taxi runs.
Bit of a theme developing here.
The coast isnt far away but i dont know it very well.
I'll have a butchers at google earth sometime and find some nice TRX roads.

Saturday 2nd August, (friday 1st for those that want to camp) Cadwell Park, Lincolnshire.
There is a Practical Sportsbikes trackday on the saturday, Classic bike Burnup on the friday.
The saturday Trackday is fully booked.

This sounds great and would give me some badly needed focus in terms of getting on the road (and making sure I've got some reliability)! Is anyone coordinating numbers/ meet up points etc or is it just a free for all? I'd (hope to be) coming from the NW (Preston area) on the Saturday and would be interested to know if anyone is planning to travel from this region (or will be passing through) or, alternatively, picking up with others en route if it's not too difficult?
