Yeah, I know, it's killing me. One went for $180 in QLD the other week, didn't have the cash though.

Contemplating a cheap car wheel & spacer, then I can get two, have one with a car tyre for drag racing :D

Can't find anything smaller than 7 inches wide though.

A couple of issues with he is the fitting of the VFR800 single sided swing arm MV, apart from the engineering to the narrowing of the pivot bearing width, and the extra reinforcing to the shock pivot link..(same as the aprilia banana swing)..is you will need to have CHAIN GANG to make you an 18 front and a 42 tooth rear sprocket..(what ever pitch chain525-530)..to otherwise have the gearing at 4200 rpm @ 100 Kay's.....(that's a 17 trx--43vfr)...
And then you will find the twin brake linked lines operating two inlets to the rear 3 piston caliper will need to be re-set to one brake line.
I have a 18 42 sprocket set which give me 3600 rpm @ 100..that's sweet.

As for the car wheel mate,..apparently a Mazda 2 yellow space saver wheel will fit there..

The VFR rear is the one that a lot of modifiers use for the single sided look.

This is actually for my VFR trackbike project, but there's some good info in there! (I just posted it here on the off chance that trxgom was a member)

R1 front end, so all the linked brake crap is gone, I will make a bridge between the 2nd inlet on the rear caliper, the rear m/c will run all 3 calipers on the rear. Might need a new M/C, not sure yet.

Curiously, I'm running 17/45 on the Rex & I'm 4000 @100. Bit high, but it's in a meaty part of the range when I need it.

The VFR rear wheel uses a 4x100 bolt pattern, very common in cars, but the centreline offset is different. With a hub spacer & cheap wheel it's do-able, I found a rim that'll work for $25, worth a shot :) Yes, quiet day at work today :-")

I've got the two of the three pistons running on the vfr caliper, seen the bridge set up for the three pistons..might have all three going one day, good stopping power.
Have the braided line running inside the hollow swing to ditch the ugly an huge chain guard as well.
Shame the wheels go for so much.

Yeah, although there's one in the US for about $200 landed...

I will run the line through the swingarm, just need to find a some custom braided line kit.

I think the wheels are expensive cos people use them to convert the rear wheel on VFR400 NC30's, which have an 18" rear as standard. Tyre choice is getting an issue for 18" rears now.
