An R6 rear shock would probably be a follower with the quality of parts going on here..if you are , a small amount of upper reinforcement needs to be removed from the yzf rear to allow the shock resevoir to work freely..and needs to be dropped through from above...also, ive noted a few times that the side arms of the yzf are often a bugger with fouling muffler cans..a good fun set up though...looking to the 878 piston fitting...what thoughts to useing a tdm 900 barrel with the trx head..?i think i have heard someong doing that somewhere..[obv there is the frame lug issue]..

about to chop off the rear end.
to late now
trying the R6 rear end on
Paul has also machined some stainless pistons for the bluespot calipers that will be fitted front and rear

1998/ 2002 5eb model same as the one my bike, will be posting all the pics of the fabrication as it progresses.

Doing the same myself this winter - using a carbon 2003 R6 rear end:
I _hate_ welding.....
Will post pics when the project is done

small update, rear all welded up just need to tidy up welds and then its off to be powder coated gloss black along with some other parts

very tidy job on the rear subframe and you get to hang on to the luggage hooks. Great way to do it. Keep it coming

blue one is a fzr400 race bike and the red/white is another special project Paul is building don't think i can say what it is. I am sure Paul will be on later to comment
