+1.. ask the mob that makes the tyre, not the bike manual- cos that will list the pressures for the OEM Crapadams and nobody uses them. And as for the wally at the dealer/tyreshop and his special pressure info... if he was that clued up he would'nt be working there...martin young wrote:It may also be worth checking what the manufacturer of your tyres suggests. Bridgestone, for example, suggest 36 front, 42 rear for their tyres on the TRX.
Yet, I run my Bridgestones at 32 front 35 rear, No one recommended those pressures, but it just feels right. anything under that and I can feel the difference, not tried it above. Front setup is 26mm thru the yokes, 6 rings on the compression, all other settings are middled (I can't think of any other word to describe it)martin young wrote:It may also be worth checking what the manufacturer of your tyres suggests. Hi!Jak wrote:Manual says:-
Load up to 90kg
Front = 2.25 bar 33 psi
Rear = 2.5 bar 37 psi
Load over to 90kg
Front = 2.5 bar 37 psi
Rear = 2.8 bar 41 psi
To convert from bar to psi ...... multiply the bar figure x 14.7
