My curiosity begs... have you weighed it?
Gordo-
It weight 162 kg (83 front -79 back) when it was completely dry , but I don't know how accured my scale is , it made 81,6 hp on a dyno but the carbs where set up way to rich at that time ,(just one run)
But I don't care to much about numbers with this bike , it feels great riding it and sounds very nice , the handling is very good and the engine makes more than enough power for me (especially for riding without a fairing ) The six gear is of not much use , besides maybe for long freeway rides (witch I try to avoid) .
The dash is working fine only thing its missing is a temperature gauge .
Thanks for all the positive input

Re: TRX900special
. No offence to Kayla but do a little homework .. I've seen dyno runs from Akrapovic on their systems site and yes they show a 6.5 hp gains in the midrange but around 3 hp on the top end on to a stock TRX. And same from Over on their system ( not as as much midrange gains) showing over 4hp gains .. Surely if your going to do make such a broad statement .. Start from a stock 76 hp as from the factory TRX. Give credit where credit is due. 3.5 hp is pretty good for the headers and for the price but what choice of can was on it also.. Looks good on paper tho and great for the sales pitch.coxylaad wrote:That is one of Kayla's exhausts, she is a regular on here.
The 8.5bhp was done on a dyno, with a before and after installation.
I have seen the printouts, it is what it is!

Re: TRX900special
Hi , I entered a competition in Holland for Yamaha specials .
If you want you can vote for one of the bikes (preferable the trx900 off course ) I'm not sure if they take votes from abroad but you can always try .
The picture are here : http://yamaha-sport-heritage.nl/stem.php
It will be much appreciated off course

Beautiful bike! Your end can is Lazer stealth - but for what bike is it made? Want one for my Projection headers too - but unsure which one to order.spondontrx wrote:The 2 in 1 headers I found on this forum http://www.projection-components.co.uk/ ... -168-p.asp , and the silencer is from Lazer (stealth)
