Has anyone tried riser clip ons to their TRX like these?

Actually I do. Tried the same but in 50mm for the SZR. I found the 7degree down angle too much; the part you grab with your hand is about the same height as it normally would be. So it is not that raised after all!
I grinded the tube clamp off and fitted some handle bar holders from a GS500E (what?!). Yeah there was some butchering and grinding involved but now I really like it. It is difficult to bolt it on solid enough, so I will get them welded on.

Edit: found a picture I made earlier. You have to click on the link to see it.
On the right LSL raised clipons (which are bloody expensive!) on the left the home-made Ebay/GS500E solution. The rise is slightly higher than the LSL units, which is very welcome on the SZR (position of original clipons = torture).

Edit2: Ah this is the type of "raised" clamp I used. The bolt pattern doesn't match, the main reason I want to weld it together.

Interesting that the 7 deg angle is too steep. I've seen some at 11 deg!

I was just trying to see if I could get a bit more height without modifying the fairing mounts. I have it up for sale at the moment but now doubting whether I want to actually sell or not. My ancient back/neck and wrists are getting pains, especially in town and I'm not ready for an Enfield just yet

After fitting a 120/70 front tyre, my forks were extended 25mm above the top of the clipons.
I then made up a spacer to fit the top clipon locating bolts the same length and bought some longer M6 cap screws.
Now the clipons are much higher, haven't tried it yet, as only finished yesterday.
There seems to be enough clearance between the fairing.
I also made up an extension to lift the brake fluid reservoir.
