while the bike is getting a set of pipes fitted, i have been making a headlight surround for the 5 3/4 LED headlight

They work well, the beam is quite ok for the road and it comes with DOT CE marks so will pass a roadworthy in most places

There was an 07 model for $3200 up the Sunshine Coast on Gumtree a little while back in pretty good nick, just a back injury was a forced sale and a repairable rite off A little cheaper down south not long back.
So another $3000+.. For that sort of cash you can have a pretty hot 850 that would eat a 900 for breaky...

I would contest that :lol: I have been on track with fcr'd big bored trx's that were not quicker in any way. in fact my 900 could even pull a bike length on the long straights. a stock 900 engine with free flowing exhaust and airbox mods, with a power commander really does rock!

the red bike is a FCR bore TRX, and the rider is my dad in law, we both have R1's now and he is quicker than me.

Half way through the wiring now, almost done, just got to changeover the speedo and tidy the cabling.
