Actually Alex, I have to ask you what swingarm you have, what year model is it from ?
I think I have to shave off about 20mm to make mine fit.
I have a pic of it... I'll post tomorrow. It's a gold.ish colour

Can't confirm what year you have from the photo, but the caliper on the vfr750f is usually on the upper side of the disc.
Not going to use it ?

The swingarm looks more modern but it is in like-brand-new state and so is the wheel and that means i dont have to paint them. They also match the front wheel in colour. 6inch rear.
Weight is - not sure at the moment. The downside is that the shock mount is offset from centre and will need adjustment on the frame which is simple enough. The width is 25mm narrower across the pivot.
Once I have the two side by side i'll know more. I got them at a very good price from the states and italy, so I am going to sell off the VFR stuff. Also the caliper and braided line were included.

Have an inkling the triumph pivot is narrower than the VFR Niel.
So how close is the pivot width compared to the Trx ?
You say you have two wheels for the vfr swing arm ?

Hi Alex, the triumph is about the same width on the shock mount as the vfr but is offset from the centre line. Maybe 20mm at a guess. The swingarm pivot is 250mm across same as the gap on the trx but there is 5mm to spare one the right side if I need to lose some to space up the other side.
Yes I have 2 x wheels and the vfr swingarm including a good 8spoke rim.
The swingarm has the brake, disc, and sprocket all in excellent condition.
Regards Neil
