The garage in London that gets bikes through the ULEZ regulations tells me that the TRX 850 will require catalytic converters to pass.
The test is about £200,tuning about £200.
If the cats are are another say £200 each,it's adding quite a bit to the prospective cost of buying the bike.
Any idea how much they cost?

Re: catalytic converter for ULEZ
A quick google search turns out various products at various prices.. Never heard or read feedback from someone retrofitting a cat converter (ppl usually go the other way) but frankly, sounds like an expensive headache so I really wouldn’t bother! Seen quite a few old bikes riding around central London too and very much doubt their owners have retrofitted cat converters..
I’ve been toying with either putting one of my TRX’s back to stock & through that test to see what the score is or simply getting a commuter bike that’s ULEZ compliant.. but with Covid & the whole work from home thing, that dilemma of mine’s been postponed until further notice
