Re: How to connect fuel lines and pump
The 2 vacuum lines from the 2 inlet manifolds ...
1 is attached to the vacuum fuel pump and the 2nd vacuum line is attached to the vacuum fuel tap.
You will see the smaller attachments for the vacuum lines.
The larger fuel attachment points are 8mm.
The fuel line attached to the bottom 8mm attachment on the carburettors.
You will also see 2 smaller attachments on the carbies which are fed from 2 small hoses which source coolant.
Left carby is fed from the radiator hose a few inches before the water enters the left side of the radiator.
Right carby is fed from where the water exits the head ontop of cam cover.
Hope this helps

Re: How to connect fuel lines and pump
There is no clear diagram in the workshop manual, but with a bit of page flipping you can work it out.
The left side inlet manifold vacuum port connects to the fuel tap, the right side connects to the fuel pump.
There is a short fuel line from the tap to the pump, then the longer line from the pump to the base of the carb assembly.
You can replace the short fuel line with a longer flexible line and loop it around under the base of the tap so that the tank can be raised without needing to disconnect the line.

So, since you apparently only use the engine, what are you up to?
