C ommute

Took the bike out for the 40 mile trip to work at Worcester, as the forecast promised a break from the usual ice / driving rain. What I got was 2oC freezing fog, which was a real bundle of fun. On the plus side nothing went bang, fell off, overpressurised or leaked, which considering it has been in small bits is a result.

It is looking coniderably less bleak outside, so may explore the upper reaches of the rev counter on the way home.

The TDM gearbox makes 1st gear a little short and wheelie free fast take offs are a bit tricky

.... and the new (ish) gearbox functioned perfectly

It went OK, apart from the fact that I must have knocked the fuel tank onto reserve and ran out of fuel on the M42! Got some of a mate and everything was fine, rode to Redditch this morning and all good
