Engine weight?

Post by monaro_77 » Mon Feb 16, 2015 10:57 pm

I'm getting an engine freighted and was wondering if anybody knows how much the TRX 850 engine weighs?
Thanks in advance

Anton.

Around 80kg from the depths of my very fuzzy memory... Packed weight will no doubt be higher if it's on a pallet, plus the cubic will be bigger. Can the seller not give you the info?

Nah, 80kg ish is about right. They are still relatively easy to pick up carry around, plonk up on a workbench etc. Moved my couple of engines around a bunch of times.
It must be true, I read it on the internet.

Yeh, I was made for lifting, not for thinking.
