Re: Touring on your TRX.
G'Day geOff, I live in Armidale NSW and I tour mine a fair bit at the moment. I usually have a dedicated tourer, the last two were a Honda CB1300S and an FZ1 Yam, but I am a pauper at the moment so the TRX does it all. That's not a problem though as it's one of the more user-friendly sports bikes. I have a Ventura rack permanently mounted on mine as I never know when I might fuk off into the distance but I also do a lot of my grocery shopping on the bike...easier to park. When I go on a trip though if it doesn't fit in a Ventura bag(which is usually mounted so it's on the passenger seat) and on the rack, it doesn't go. I have a tank bag for longer trips such as Phillip Island for Moto GP etc but I prefer not to use it. Luckily I'm not tall so it never gets uncomfortable for me but even the taller blokes reckon they are OK.
Welcome to the mob and I hope you enjoy your time here and on the TRX...
