which blue spot calipers?

Hi all,

I'm wanting to replace the pads and seals on the front brake calipers, which are blue spot. I'm just not sure which type they are.. there are the follow marks on the under-sides.. 95AN (left) 95CN (right) but aside from that, no other markings I can see..

Does anyone know which calipers these are? R1/R6/XJR1300? Does it matter?

I'm from the UK.

Thanks,
Joe

looks like the part numbers are the same for both the R1 and R6, so looking at R1 pads and seals on that basis.

Here's a quick and dirty scrape of Yamaha online parts fiche for R6 brake pads 4SV-25805-00. OEM R1 pads have a different part number, 5JJ-W0045-00, but are the same if you buy aftermarket. Seals and pistons are used in even more models, right up to 2020 MT10AL.

Yes, really.
Some of the calipers are different, but the pads, pistons and seals are used on heaps of models from the TZ all the way to current models
For example, the pistons and seals are the same in blue spots and radial calipers.
The online parts fiche is a great way to hunt for parts as you can see every model that uses any particular part, as well as if it is still in production.

Right, that makes sense. The TZ125 didn't have the bluespots yet but the pistons and seals are the same size apparently.
