Hi all,
So.. I'm totally stuck about how to remove the front fairing on my 96 TRX. Anyone know the technique for getting these rubber gromits off? Do I just rarv' em off?

Re: remove front fairing
Hi pine!
Only the nut is meant to go off.
The "rubber grommits" are meant to stay at the holder.
But the screw seem to be rusted in the nut so be careful and use plenty of penetrating oil before trying to screw the nut off.
Also the screws tend to become loose in the fairing (they should be held tight in there) so you better try to get a good grip around the place where the screw is mounted in the fairing while turning the nut.
Good luck!
