Standard rear shock...

Post by bane » Sun Jul 31, 2016 7:23 am

Is the top rear shock pivot a bearing or a bush? It apears to have dust seals on the ends but i cant get it to spin. Surely it couldnt be seized when the linkage bearings move so freely?

Cheers.

It's a rubber supported bush, bush-rubber-sleeve and can be seized, as the bolt that runs through it gets wet and can rust in. The rubber part then tears and allows the shock to move back and forth…
If it's not made in China, it's a fake!
