Coils

Post by BamBamTheAprilia » Thu Jul 21, 2016 3:03 pm

Ok guys , I am looking to change the coils on my Rex as the the performance is very stuttery between 2000-4000 rpm . I think the coils are one their way out , they are 20 years old ! Any one got experience with after market upgrade coils eg Dynatek . Any suggestions as to what would work well ? Thanks in advance

I'd be looking at emulsion tubes causing that problem. You can check the internal resistance of the coils to see how they are performing.
