my '04 R6 blue spots came yesterday . . . complete with 04 R6 written on the back of one caliper in green permanent paint pen.
It came off, but so did some of the calipers original coating.
I would love to bring them back to as new condition.
Anyone know what paint to use?

Use any propriotory matt black and when cured a thin coating of high temperature laquer, that brings them back to a pretty close match.
Oh, and the finish is not really matt, more a flat black.

I know I use a $3 silver sharpie (marking pen)just to touch up those couple of rusty marks on the frame and stone chips on the front base of the motor. ..
