Right all you clever people out there does anyone have an idea about making their own shift light? I'm looking for a circuit diagram for something that can read/sense the HT side or take off the rev counter feed and then flash/light up (very brightly) at certain revs. Don't want to buy a premade one cos where's the fun in that?
Half way through my gear indicatorproject so i want something to get my teeth into once I finish that.
Thanks
Heath

Re: Shift Light
Ah well you`ll need somthing like this:
http://www.raptorperformance.com/Tech/R ... ctions.pdf
Try emailing them to see if it`ll work on two cylinders, the marketing gumph would indicate that it does. Many are designed for cars so work on 4, 6 or 8 cylinders only.
Alternatively search the web for `RPM activated switches`, good luck.
