Vacuum Gauges
Does anyone have recommendations on vacuum gauges? Can I just get a single and swap bewteen the two vacuum hoses connections until it's balanced? Just not sure whether I need to look for a double gauge setup or can just buy a single. Cheers.

The balancer kit i bought was from the UK. It's a couple of pieces of clear tube with ball bearings inside. Can't go wrong. All attachments were included. Cost about $20 posted. I've got a small fuel tank as well, ideal so you can run the bike with your tank off. Let me know when you want them as i'll be away on holidays in two weeks time.

LOL
You're cheap and yet you have Keihin FCRs and an R1 frontend fitted ???
I'm cheap - if it was possible, I'd bore the standard Mikunis out to 41mm!
Oh yeah. I have a Morgan Carbtune and like most others, think it's great; feels like it will last as lifetime, too, unlike the cheapo versions.

Yep the morgan kit is good, i have one of the old mercury kits, it works really well.martin young wrote:tbh you'd be better off with a twin unit cos there's too much fekking about moving a single from one line to the other. Morgan Carbtune is a brilliant piece of kit - dead simple to use and easier to compare vacuums than dial gauges.
