My 96 model TRX has just passed the 75 000 km milestone.
The bike has had two previous owners and still purrs and starts first - second time every day. What would usually be worth looking out and checking at mileage like 75 000? Are there any major things that I should look at checking or replacing at this stage?
Thanks in advance guys

Re: 75 000 km service
I would just give it a thorough service.
Oil, filter, air filter, plugs, coolant, brake fluid and obviously inspect the brakes and bearings.
Balance the carbs.
I would also do a valves clearance check to see if the intake valves are closing up.
With 75,000 km I wouldnt expect any major issues. The bottom end should be fine and the cam chain and head are likely ok. The only thing I would potentially expect is closed up intake valve clearances
Does it use oil?

Re: 75 000 km service
That's good to hear. I've done all those things Con Rod (aside from plugs). I'm pretty sure my mechanic has balanced the carbs on a recent service and done valve clearances too.
It doesn't use much oil which I change it every 1000 + Ks. She'll be going strong for a while longer I hope
Cheers for the info!!
