Mighty Oran Park

Post by bobtrx » Thu Jul 23, 2009 9:34 am

Do you boys think it's time we looked at another Oran Park day this year . Have a ride what ya bring and say G'Day day , I haven't looked at the calendar yet . More a see who's still alive and doing track days and wants to get together . If any other Mexican's want to we can organize a common transport maybe . Could be a banana bender or 2 . As for the coat hanger's you have no excuse . I will sit by the computa stubbie in hand waiting for the flood of replies

G'day Bob,

I'd be up for it. Hopefully I'll get a day in next Friday on the Paperclip's sprint track

Just made arrangements to go to the MotoGP this year. Float the bikes to Can'tbareher, down via Bombala home via Hotham / Khancoban

I'd be interested as a spectator,Bob (like last time)

Plus my continuing search for a set of leathers continues rules me out . Nearly bought a set of 2 piece RST Rift Leathers a few months back, but couldn't find a set that fit me. Maybe it was lucky seeing how much this damned water pump and service cost me all up

Don't forget the last ever race at Oran Park in November, the 6 Hour on the weekend of 21 - 22/11
plus the Sydney Bike Expo as well.

Hi All,

OOOSDC members unite! The TRX is in storage at a mate's place as our renovations are in full swing, so it will take a little organising.

All depends on when: call me a 50/50 chance.

Cheers

ok - John, you're a 50/50 chance

I had a good look and was sure the last track day I did out there was the only date I could make before it closed but it would be nice to be wrong.

There are mid week dates up to Dec which are no good for me and mates . Circuit breakers have week end dates sept 5th sat , oct 3rd sat , dec 6th sun . Champions have dec 19th sat . My preferred date would be with champions for leather hire for a few mates and they are a good crew. We will be doing a week end date for travel / work reasons and being so far in the future we can make it fit with the xmass stuff . So what do you gentlemen think can it work .

Friday 18 is the end of the school year in NSW, making it a less than perfect day to travel. Having said that, I could very well be in Sydney that night anyway, so count me in at this stage. Any Saturday is good for me.

19th works for me.

Now to find out why the electricals keep cutting in and out and the tacho falls to zero and back but that's a topic for another thread.

Had a mate ring with "we are going to Oran 5th Sept thru circuit breakers , do you want in" a nano second later I'm doing it with them . Dec 19th is still on for me and another crew of riders so I get two cracks at the track before it turns in butter boxes for humans . ( housing estate )
