Hi all, im new to site. Hope you are all well.
I've recently purchased a blk/yel Kenny roberts rep low mileage trx. What I'm in two minds about is to a) set up for track days (novice)...or b) spruce it up over years and keep it for the occasional bike fest/show/meet.
A) or B) ???
track day it, or care for it?

personally I'd go for A... perfect bike for novice track days...they are such a forgiving bike and a gem to learn and allow your confidence to grow on...

That'll be a bit like mine then!
Do both. I'm putting together a road kit for mine to use on occasional days out when i just cant be seen riding a transalp.

Re: track day it, or care for it?
thanks silver and mrdimwiddy. Yes silver mine is similar to that one but road legal, though I must say, your bikes look brilliant! mrdimwiddy your's looks highly modified...the only mod I am capable of getting done is putting on a wheel trim sticker, regardless of the amount of tech info on this site (no tools or comfidence).
Ideally 2 x TRX's would be perfect, one to store and one to ride on track.
I have done one track day at an RAF base in Odiham and that was fantastic, so I know where you're coming from with regards to the excitment of riding on track...on the other hand i'd like to look after this bike and keep it as a future classic...hmmmm.
