Blummin Yam diagrams !!

Post by Yoozy » Sun Jul 28, 2013 5:44 pm

Righty ho. Carbs, big black pipe under fuel in is a breather drainer,, yes ?

Do I take it that like all the other stuff on the diagrams if it doesn't say what it is or where it goes its either a drain or breather ?

I've been trying that bleedin hard to keep everything as it should be and where it should be routed tha nors an av got this one left over,,

Some weirdness on this bike, the tap was facing the wrong way and it had a tiny rigid black pipe teed in to the tap to pump pipe and routed up the back fairing so I'm checking all is dandy before I set fire to the lab

My guess would be that the tee with feed to the rear end was / is to provide suction to a Scott-oiler ??
... and if one is not fitted, needs blanking off :?:
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

=D> Makes some kind sense to me as their was a clipy thing up there for an oiler by the look of it at some stage. Not on the vacuum though but the main fuel line :-k

Now, just need me mind putting at ease with the other bugger 8-[

I can confirm that the top t piece is the fuel in connection and the one bellow [plastic] is a drain. The info out there is pretty shite tbh though, the manuals, downloads have dark pictures and the diagrams are a kerfuffle. What can you expect from a fud who's had fuel injection for the last 13 -14 years though [-(
Cheers again Mr DW =D>
