Parts Compatibility

I may be imagining this, but I am sure I saw somewhere a website which tells you which parts are interchangeable between different models of bike. I am only asking because a mate trashed his Suzuki GSF 600 and he is wondering if parts from other Suzuki models may be interchangeable namely brake pedal. Maybe one of the site gurus may have seen a site like this...thanks David.
