So, i have the standard gearing of a TDM900 now....but was thinking i felt the TRX´s first gear was pretty useless with a front 16T. Or it was just the tuning wich had me onto the rev limit.
Been checking....Stock 8k revs:
Speed 1st Gear 77
Speed 2nd Gear 108
Speed 3rd Gear 136
Speed 4th Gear 170
Speed 5th Gear 202
Speed 6th Gear 228
17/42 gearing:
Speed 1st Gear 81
Speed 2nd Gear 115
Speed 3rd Gear 145
Speed 4th Gear 180
Speed 5th Gear 215
Speed 6th Gear 242
I´ve had 245km/h on the TRX meter with 17/40 and the acceleration was great in first.....wouldn´t it be better off doing a front 17 as well?? And also a better chain angle?
