Hello all.

Post by TristanTRX » Fri Sep 05, 2008 1:13 pm

Well I've finally managed to get my grubby mits on a TRX. I first saw one at the 95 bike show and loved it. All my mates said I was mad (and given the price at the time) I settled for a nearly new CBR 600.

I stopped riding bikes about 5 years ago, but have now decided to get back in the saddle. Was trawlling eGay for something a bit different and memories came flooding back of the TRX I'd always fancied.

I ended up spotting this one this morning, made what I thought was a cheeky offer and low and behold she's all MINE!!!

She's got R1 calipers, braided hoses front and rear, bit more oil in the front end, scorpion exhaust, T&T and all for only £1150!!

I think/hope I got a bargain, comments welcomed..

Take the Virgin off the tank and it would ace. It's a good looking red.

With those anodised pegs, you paid WAY too much. Put the normal ones back on and you got a very good deal!

Looks like a very nice bike with the basic stuff done. =D>

Haven't seen it in the flesh yet, but I'm pretty sure the Virgin is under lacquer. Still I'm a born again virgin anyway, so it's kind of fitting!

If he doesn't approve of Virgin, perhaps he favours BA?

Congrats, here in Switzerland TRXes are not really sought after, but far away from being that cheap!
