fuel cap painting

i am wanting to paint my fuel cap or put one of those covers that are on ebay.

has any one painted there fuel cap? how did it come out?.

or

do you reckon you could paint one of those carbon things? if it was prepd well it could work.

i dont like carbon so dont realy want to put one on. but my cap is ugly and want to tidy it up.
Is it Brock friendly???

Thats my fuel cap in my avatar. Any sticker guy could make one up for you to any design. Kiwi flag or union jack would look alright. 8-[
