Grease my rear end
Hello World. Has anyone got any ideas as to a safe way to hold or stand the bike so i can lube the shock and links. I keep looking at the mounting point that has the unused holes in it and thinking of putting in the time to weld up some type of race stand that bolts in at that point. Sorry if its been asked before. please push me in the right direction.Slip.

I did the same job as you i packed under the sidestand foot and used a small bottle jack under the alloy plate on the oppisite side.

I leave the bike on the sidestand and use a trolley jack under the big engine bracket on the right hand side. Changed a number of shocks and swingarms that way.

Re: Grease my rear end
Slippy,
If you're just doing shock and link greasing, not removing the swinger, use a bit of 9mm bar through the swingaem pivot with a jack and axle stands or a pile of bricks etc.
BTW, this thread is not at all what I'd hoped for from the title: very disappointed!!
BTW2, Punica, you wanna have a word with that guy who's taking a dump in the corner of your shed!!
