righteo, replacing the right handle bar because the rex fell over in the wind and bent it. oops!
everything set to go, but the new bar doesnt have an 'end'. i looked at trying to remove the one in the old bar but hadnt realised they arent screw in and subsequently scored it with mole grips. oops again. so ive ordered a new bar end, which should be here in the next couple of days.
at this point i just want to check something with you chaps:
first, and possibly a no brainer, is it simply a press fit?
secondly, and more importantly, can i knock it in gently with a nylon mallet once the bar is on the bike, or is it going to need pressing in with a vice or similar before fitment?
as always im keen to crack on with it but i just know if i go and fit the bar ill need to take it off again to fit the end!
