Just a couple of pics!

Post by CULater » Tue Apr 24, 2007 9:03 pm

We had our first ride out last saterday, the weather turned out very good that day after a cold night (only 5 degrees when we rode to the meeting point) temperatures got in the 20's and all day sun!

Here's a few pics!

9 TRX's showed up ! (8 pictured here)

And the rest

Sadly we had three accidents that day, 1 TDM, and 2 TRX's left the road unplanned, none of the riders got seriously hurt.
The TRX's were in my group and both accidents happend due to travelling a wee bit faster then the advised speed.

And, while i normaly ride in front of the group (most of the time i have to play tourguide), this time i rode at the back of the pack, the last accident happend right in front of my nose, that fookin scared the shit outta me 8)
Anyways, both owners said that they wil repair their bikes!

Me thinks that, having seen the damage, both TRX's will be declared "Economicly Totalled" by the insurance.
So it won't be so easy to fix the bikes up again.
Thankfully we have some recources in the club, and some useful adresses were they can get some parts.

If anybody is interested in all the pics of that day, here are the links

That damage looks pretty superficial to me.

Agree they may be economical write-offs though, but I can't see how it would be difficult to repair them.

Great turn-out BTW, shame about the offs.

:D The scenery could pass for the Fens, and no body picked the ditch side to fall off. Hope the guy on the stretcher was only looking for somewhere to lay down, LOL.

Do the roads sink into the sea bed there as well?
