Post by Mav617 » Fri Nov 07, 2014 9:42 pm

Just got mine and wanting to do a plug chop - any recommendations on plug choice, heard Iridiums can be problematic?

What did you hear about iridiums being problematic?
I have had them for ages, doing just fine.

I had 1 fail within. 500km but that doesn't stop me from using them.
Pretty slim chance you'll get a bad one and usually it will fail shortly after fitting if its dodgey.
Benefits gained using iridium outweigh any negatives :r1p:

Thank god i just grabbed my reading glasses. Thought the thread was butt plug.

Never had an issue with iridium plugs. Certainly worth the extra $$$ in my view.

I've heard of the tips breaking and falling into bores on high power turbo charged cars causing damage.
Never heard of a problem on motorbikes though.
