thanks so much for all your advise, support and overall friendliness on this forum.
I enjoyed my time on here, even though it was only a short stay.
The TRX gave me a lot of pleasure and I like the bike, but wanted to go back to ride Naked
I couldn't bring myself to convert the TRX to a naked bike, as it looks good the way it is.
I purchased a Yamaha XV1600 two years after I crashed in Tasmania, just to get back on the bike and take it easy.
It didn't take long and the bike changed it's appearance a lot.
Then I purchased the TRX a year ago, after I saw a cool Cafe Racer kit for it.
The riding position of a semi sports bike (TRX) wasn't my preferred style, but the TRX brought me back to enjoy riding a little quicker again.
I test rode a Yamaha MT-09 a couple weeks ago and what a bike it is. It's a wheelie machine and very radical.
I considered buying one, but instead purchased a Honda Hornet 900. First registered in 2009, with 10250 k's on the clock.
Picked it up for what I sold the TRX for (+$500)
The Hornet is fun, easy to ride and has enough power to keep me happy for a long time.
The Bobber sold today as well, so now I'm looking for a Classic Bike
The TRX will be a classic soon, but I'm looking for something 30 years old+
Keep upright and enjoy the TRX.
Cheers,
Marc
