Just leave the bike sit in the QLD sun for a few minutes and just opening the tank cap will give you an indication straight away if there is a blockage there.

Tank breather good, everything good but,,

It was the fan wire squashed up on a ht lead. Couldn't see it from the top and never noticed it when I'd been buggerring about with the plugs. Had it up on the ramp today and was mooching about, poking and prodding, and spotted it looked a tad tight. The way the plug leads were routed [as they always have been] was right behind the fan so when the rad was in place it squashed the fan wire on to a ht lead that was itself pushed on to the frame. I'm thinking when the bike got hot it broke the insulation down and caused the lead to track on to the neutral wire in the fan wiring, an insulation fault. Anyroad, all tidied up and everything out the way and bingo :D
Out for a good blat up and down local roads, up and down the dual carriage way near us and all is good

Still however the tiniest of an occasional misfire that has always been there and becomes worse when it gets wet, so I reckon I've sussed that out annall :salute:
