Yes Happies and Merries to all our readers... whew, now that all the family obligations are out of the way (12 people at our place yesterday and another 29 at someones else's today) i can get on with the important stuff, like catching up on my special edition boxed set of Charlie and Ewan's adventures.
Cheers one and all, stay safe

Adam ant eh, or Stuard Goddard I think was his real name. Didn't he loose it a bit as he got older ? I know I have. :D I was a big fan back in the early 80's.
As for what did Santa bring, deep breath... . I got an RST Rift jacket with zip out liner & matching kegs, a loverly pair of Richa gloves, pair of knee warmers  + the usual smellies, boxers, socks etc. Gifts to myself were a B-square back protector, swing arm paddock stand bobbins + stand hooks, double bubble screen (if it ever turns up), Ducati 916 front mudguard (might fit ?), tax disc holder, repair manual, K & N filter, ski mask, one off exhaust & cans & a leather jacket ! Yes I made sure I had a very good Christmas this year. I'm skint now though. :(

Yeah, he's had a lot of problems, although not so much drink/drugs - more to do with being bi-polar and strugglng with medication ... I met him in '94 when he was starting to get it together again, really nice guy. Apparently his book is very blunt and honest, looking forward to reading it. Mind you as I still haven't finished reading the Ronnie Wood one I got for Christmas last year it may be a while before I start it

Hi Jak!

I got (myself) two sets of carbon engine covers 8) - made by Franck, a French TRX friend.

From my girlfriend I got an English Peanuts calender =D> for a change :D - the years before I got an English Langenscheidt calender "A Joke A Day" which is quite funny; but I bet the Peanuts calender will be lots of more fun (I'm a big fan 8) ).

And there are more parts from Franck on the way: a race fairing, a belly pan and maybe a single seat - ok, for christmas it'll be a bit late, but they'll be on time for my birthday in about four weeks

Donated greetings from Munich!

My boyfriend gave me an amber necklace and a Haynes for the TRX. He did very well on the tenner limit we set each other... I got him some squirty bath toys[1], some clicky pencils[2] and a book on tuning the A-series engine (he has a Morris 1000).

I treated myself and the bike to some goodies- YZF750 front end, FCR41s and a single seat unit. I'm after a set of leathers too.

[1] Cos he's in the throes of considering building a bobber and tends to do his best thinking in the bath.
[2] To write the ideas from [1] down after he's thought of them.

A tenner ! Why can't I meet a girl like that ? I'm lucky if I get away with £150 at Chistmas. I bought my prezzy off her this year (jacket & kegs) & she is yet to buy hers off me ! :?
Is an amber necklace a bit like a pearl one ???
