got one.... ordered off ebay. real nice too....

got my old motrax item off today... with hairdrier, and copious amounts of white spirit... proceeded then to get all the white spirit residue off then with warm water and a fresh kitchen sponge... dried tank thoroughly, and popped the bike back in shed... must say it looks real naked... without a tank pad.. but the paint underneath is immaculate...

masked the area roughly tonite with masking tape ready to fit the new one tomorrow...

starting to take shape.. now.. polished the one rear foot rest friday, just need to do the other, then may put on the original pipes for a short spell...

has its M.O.T before the 21st may... and the bloke that offered me £2000 for it is there.. and i just know he wants it, and will be looking around it... so needs to look original...

I love my TRX glad i didnt sell it...

thanks All for not allowing me to sell it...

seriously thinking once i sell the scooter to retire the TRX for a Few years... and buy something i dont mind putting miles on like an R1 or something that is just mundane and boring... and never going to achieve classic status...

you could go with a clear tank pad if you want to keep the clean look
