Almost the new TRX 900......almost!
Luc, a guy from Belgium transplanted a TDM 900 enigine into a Fazer 600 frame, welded and bolted a R6 subframe and seatunit to it, and here's the result!

... wot he said, plus it's always good to see there are still people around who will build specials from whatever is laying around. Did anyone see the 500-3cyl 'MV' replica some French guy made by sawing one cylinder off a Yamaha 600-4, junking the cam chain and adding his own gear train, re-working the crank, designing new cams, panel-beating a tank and seat unit, &c, &c, &c. Now that's my idea of a special !!! Gorgeous.
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

For me:
This is 100 times better than the TDM. But then the TDM is not the bike for me. It's downside is the frame, it's horrible, and made worse by the fact that it's painted in a colour that highlights it. The rest is OK, spoiled by Detail largely that is personal taste, like the colour, and the bars which are a bit high.
But the work is good of course. I can appreciate the effort and the engineering. For me it's a bit like a Trikes - I can admire the engineering but rarely appreciate the point.
Paint the bike black, and the frame black to disguise it.

"Well I do disagree on that one, Yamaha is doing better then the no risc, always safe, boring, dull and the always stick to the safe side Honda design. "
Have to agree there. Yamaha is one of the more innovative bike factories around when it comes to bike design. Kawasaki are not that far behind either............and that's coming from a person that used to be a dyed-in-the-wool Suzuki fan! Hondas have always been a touch on the bland side for me.
