I need an alternator cover gasket, any ideas where I could get one? would normally use wemoto but their website seems to have gone down indefinitely, i haven't been able to get on it for weeks.

Re: Gasket
if you can get a bit of gasket paper you can do it the old school way and make it your self.
two ways
one is a bit of bearing blue and make a stamp out o the cover and then cut it out.
the other way is a small tapping hammer. place the paper on the surface then carefully use the hammer to cut the gasket on the sharp edge of the case.
The old man is a ex army mechanic, they use that technique when out in the feild when they cant get the gaskets needed. i have used it a few times and with a bit of practice it works real well.

Well - you could sell the spare(s) on here to someone else who doesn't want to buy a complete set

Re: Gasket
I'm with brockzilla on this, you can get a sheet of gasket paper from any good engineering supply shop for a couple of quid and it'll probably last for years.
I use it for everything except head gaskets.

Don't waste your time trying to make one, the part number is as follows:
3VD-15451-00 GASKET, CRANKCASE COVER 1 £4.57 from Flitwick's when I last bought one.
