Your personal thought on dogbones...
Yes, what´s your ideas about them bones?
I got the KEDO one´s and they lift 4cm....wich feel a tad much even if it actually looks the shit.
But i think that the Ohlin shock can´t work it´s magic with that raise..
Whatcja think folks!?

I did,nt like mine and they only raised the back about 15-18mm, that was at 177mm hole centres, I have another set at 180 hole centres, I never done it for looks my centre stand dug in last year and wanted to give myself a little more ground clearence though I blame the stand digging in more on the sort of corner and me weighing in at nearly 17 stone at the time now 16

Re: Your personal thought on dogbones...
wow.. 40mm is a HUGE amount. As you said, i dont think the shock is gonna work properly at that height. But i could possibly be wrong.
Dogbones are different for every person.. Some like this, others like that.. Find whats best for you really.

The Ohlins shock has height adjuster so i will lower it and try if it´s better.Quan-Time wrote:wow.. 40mm is a HUGE amount. As you said, i dont think the shock is gonna work properly at that height. But i could possibly be wrong.

Re: Your personal thought on dogbones...
i am up to 40mm now with the adjuster on the ohlins ,in an attempt to get some more weight over the front ,,the forks with the back jacked up are now 23.5 deg, and there is still no head shake,, this is an attempt at getting more feel from the front and its getting better ,, but i doubt i will be able to make it handle like the buell , strange thing is buell run 21 deg forks with no problems

Don't know about the TRX originals, but the YZF dogbones measure 170 mm.
Maybe someone else can post the TRX measurement?
