how do you change needles on fcrs i cant undo screws on top of slides

Glad to hear it!
BTW, I just learned that little "trick" recently. I always used a heat gun, blow torch or some other over the top method on my bikes. Never dawned on me to use something more direct and not likely to cause collateral damage.
Working on RC helicopters with their zillions of tiny little locktited bolts and plastic bits is where I got the idea...
