Re: Lakeside TRX 850
Peak torque is from 6000 to 7700 and 9500 is my peak Hp so I'll run it up to 8500-9000.
It will safely rev to 10,000rpm but I set the limiter to 9500 for peace of mind.
Fueling starts to lean out into the hi 13's after 8500 in 4th n 5th.
It's a rob Peter to pay Paul thing as it will impact on my hi 11's rich peak at 5500 so if I go up any more in the mains, I'll loss a little drive out of the corners.
Even the temps where good sitting about 82*c and oil around 90*c

Re: Lakeside TRX 850
Your TRX with the Megacycle exhaust was definitely the best sounding one too, followed by the Touno v4 and so on.
Good to see some puzzled faces saying seeing a TRX in the paddock and kickin' some butt.

video, 3rd session of the first day, just as it started to piss down.
May be camera mounting but listen how harsh my bike is compared to yours.
Also the weather is slightly better at your place

Re: Lakeside TRX 850
I reckon that's just differences in camera mic performance. I forgot to put a piece of blutac over the mic on my SJCam last time and the sound was shit.
Here's a vid of Mike Edwards on his SZR660 at Assen - sound is shit there too..................

Re: Lakeside TRX 850
dunno, I think I have more vibration on my bike for some reason, my dad has videos and they sound like cobbas, and we are running the same gopro camera setup.
I am considering stumping up for an ignijet ecu before the next track day to see if I can smoothout the roughnesswith that.
