When converting over from the TRX master cylinder to the R6 one, can you still use the std TRX light switch or do you have to buy the R6 one, or are they the same part no. etc......?

They are a generic part used on all bikes ( yamaha, kawa, Honda, Suzuki) fitted with the Nissin master cylinders.

What a difference the R6 Master cylinder makes! Wish I'd done it years ago!
Got the bike back today from a service.
New mc + lever
New chain slipper
New rear tyre to finally match the front - Bridgestone T30
and a minor service
Bike is running sooooooo much smoother now
