rev counter help

ok when I got the bike it had fzr clocks on and the rev counter didn't really work properly , so I swapped them over for trx clocks now and still have the same prob . has any 1 else had this prob b4 or does any body no the prob im having or how to fix

cant attach the vid for some reason ,ok the rev counter works for about 3 seconds the it drop to zero then up to 3k then down 1500 then zero then back up to 3k then 1500 then zero again and keeps doing this then when u turn off and turn on again and with out the engine running it still does the same thing
any help on this please

You need to set your throttle position sensor (TPS)...easy thing to do...have a search
