Currently reading above full, below top while on sidestand - which means over full when standing up.
Is there any problem slightly over full with an oil tank?
When I was filling the oil, it couldn't take all 3.6L for oil/filter change in one go (200mL short), and was just wanting to come back out the filler when I tried leaning it.
After cranking over with engine off down a hill, and short ride back up hill to get home, it was at halfway, about right for 200mL. I filled to the full mark, but now after a few rides reads high as described at start of post.
edit: I also noticed while filling, the fresh oil put into the oil filler that swished back already had old oil residue in it. Do others find the oil colour goes off new quickly with the residue traces of old oil in the cases after a ride?

Re: Oil overfill - any problem?
I helped a friend buying a trix and first thing i noticed was oil in the window when cold.
He bought it and that evening we drained 0,5L out so i think you´ll be ok..

Re: Oil overfill - any problem?
Little update, I noticed after short ride to get new rear tyre fitted, it's at halfway in sight glass while on the centrestand instead of over full as originally decribed.
Bike upright still reads high, but another 200mL lower than high before. I suppose depending how the engine stops some might stay down more than other times.

You must always check oil just after a ride 10 mins min.
Just stop the bike and tilt it upright and that is it. Top it up straight away. Never do this before a ride as the reading will be false as the oil can drain down overnight.
