Two weeks of not being used ... rear tyre pressure dropeed to 8psi
Pumped it up to 36psi.
Overnight dropped to 20psi
Gave it a good inspection for flints, nails, nicks & cuts - None found
Soap solution around the valve - No bubbles
Pumped it back to 36psi
Dropped to 33psi overnight.
... any suggestions as to cause or cure ????
Its got too much life in it to want to fork out over £100 for a new tyre [-o<

Only causes are valve or puncture. if you're sure its not the valve or valve seat, then its a puncture that you've missed when you inspected. Unlikely to be the bead (tyre/wheel interface) leaking.

Get it out and take it to the nearest river/paddling pool/bath to check..

Hah !! Guess wot :?:
Washing up liquid solution shows there is a very light leak between the tyre bead and the wheel rim on the drive side opposite the valve.
I've tried totally deflating the tyre and re-inflating it but it's still weeping.
Guess the only option is to get the tyre taken off, inspect and clean the offending areas of both tyre and rim and have it re-fitted (after rotating the tyre 180°) and re-balance.
Trixy & Mince ... just 'cos you were wrong this time doesn't mean I won't ask your advice again in the future  :D
