I agree with everything thats already said, (well as much as I can agree with 2, or was it 3 or 4 sides of an argument!!) but am I alone in thinking there's something pretty f*&^ed up about the very edge of that tyre??

It looks to me like something is scraping the edge of the tyre, not like wear. It's at the wrong angle to be normal road wear, and also a different consistency of 'roughness'.

Please correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure youse will!! :P )

Kirk.

And Ady have you seen the price of push bike tyres compared to motorcycle tyres, althpugh I cant remember what make was on the ducati push bikes at the NEC, but for £3000, they must be good!

I think that it might have had something to do when the front slipped out, perhaps caused by the very edge sliding/slipping sideways and rubbing while still rotating forward(?). Anyway, time for a new tyre/tyres! (And I just put on the R1 clutch perch, so now need to start saving for some shorties too! These two-wheeled thing-a-ma-bobs sure know how to burn a hole in your wallet  )
