Manual says:-

Load up to 90kg
Front = 2.25 bar 33 psi
Rear = 2.5 bar 37 psi

Load over to 90kg
Front = 2.5 bar 37 psi
Rear = 2.8 bar 41 psi

To convert from bar to psi ...... multiply the bar figure x 14.7

It may also be worth checking what the manufacturer of your tyres suggests. Bridgestone, for example, suggest 36 front, 42 rear for their tyres on the TRX.

Local Yamaha dealer said 32 front 36 rear for Michelin Pilot Powers. Reminds me must check the serial number for that recall.

+1.. ask the mob that makes the tyre, not the bike manual- cos that will list the pressures for the OEM Crapadams and nobody uses them. And as for the wally at the dealer/tyreshop and his special pressure info... if he was that clued up he would'nt be working there...

Yet, I run my Bridgestones at 32 front 35 rear, No one recommended those pressures, but it just feels right. anything under that and I can feel the difference, not tried it above. Front setup is 26mm thru the yokes, 6 rings on the compression, all other settings are middled (I can't think of any other word to describe it) :roll:

P.S. I weight 90 kilos :oops:

I run Bridgestones also, 32 front 38 rear. Like Ash says, it feels right for me. Terry Hay, the suspension guru, recommended similar figures. I also weigh in at the 90 kg mark.I tried them at 36 front and 42 rear but it felt like a billy cart ride.
