Well head is back and on the bench making me feel guilty, coz instead of starting the rebuild I am off to the Stafford show. Before I start the rebuild, does anyone know if it is better to use gasket compound with the cylinder head and if so which brand?

Fit it dry if it's a stock Yam gasket.
