Koso RX-2N dash and setting TPS

Post by cobbadiggabuddyblooo » Fri Nov 22, 2013 2:50 pm

I'm looking at a Koso RX-2N dash to fit to my bike . My question is about setting the TPS on the FCR's . Is this still possible using the Koso dash instead of the std TRX taco? I noticed they have both black and white faced units . Any feedback on how clear and defined reading the gauges through day and nite riding and overall reliability would be appreciated.. Cheers

i fitted a koso dash to my dads Triumph a few month back, I am fairly certain it doesnt have any provision for throttle position setup mate.

It will still read TPS error codes as it is the sensor itself that controls the set up not the gauge. I've used both the black & white faced dials on different bikes & both are clearly visible in all light/dark conditions. As for reliability i have Koso gauges fitted on 3 bikes & they've never missed a beat to date so are also well made (they make OE equipment for many of the major manufacturers  )

Hope this helps Cobba?

Excellent  that's just what I needed to confirm a few queries. I figured the gauge is just a slave so it only reads what it's told weather aftermarket or OEM. Now the tough decision ..mmm what colour will match my shoes and man bag ...

That's me wrong then!

I never saw anything on my dads setup. Might be a different model dash
