Harris Bellypan Modification

I'm in the midst of a TRX restoration/ modification project and after a rush of blood I contacted Harris for one of their full length bellypans. While it was no longer a stock item they were willing to make me one but advised they no longer had any of the brackets. Thinking it couldn't be too complicated I went ahead anyway but in the interim I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice or maybe, even, somebody might have some brackets for sale?
Having said all that it was only after ordering that I found a number of posts that suggested the full length pan needed too much 'cutting' to accommodate the exhaust (I've gone for the two-in-to-one Akra). While I'm sure this is true for a number of systems it looks to me as though I only need to cut a 'hole' in the LH side(?). Does anyone have any pics/ dimensions etc for the fit?
As always I'd be extremely grateful for any advice/ guidance anyone can offer. I've added a pic of the current state of the build for interest(!).

May I enquire on the rear shock choice you have with the piggyback remote 2speed comp??

Mine is mounted using a long threaded bar (m8 studding) thro' the holes running along the front of the crankcases, then I removed the bolt holding the stock exhaust to the underside of the engine and fitted another length of studding (about 6" long)
and drilled a hole in the belly pan and bolted it there too. So, a 3-point fixing). Took a bit of trial & error to get the length and angle right bit it worked in the end. Good luck

Shock is a GP7 unit made to order by Maxton Engineering at Frodsham near Warrington in the UK.

Thanks R2. Are you running the stock front pipes/ did you have to mod the pan?

Running with stock headers , extension pipes and MTC cans. No mods to belly pan (other than drilling the holes)

You will have alot of trimming out to do on the leading face if you want it to clear Akra headers - although you could reposition the fixing holes so that it sits further forward

Thanks. I certainly agree on this but from initial positioning of the pan (and after some preliminary trimming of the leading face) it still looks like I will have to open up the LH side to accommodate the bottom run of the LH front pipe. Trimming the front face allows the pan to move back enough but the bottom of the LH front pipe stops it moving high enough to reach the front mounting points. Guess I'm just going to have to go for it bit by bit - gulp!

Bit the bullet and finally got round to modifying the bellypan today. Thought it worthwhile posting a pic of the finished article. Just need some heat reflective tape for the inside and should be done although I am thinking of closing up the opening at the front for the down pipes given they slope over to one side. Decisions, decisions....

Is that an off side round headlamp that I notice? Harris Perf endurance fairing or something else?

Thanks and yes, I know what you mean about polishing. It's supposed to be my track day bike but I'm lavishing far too much attention (and money) on it to be too cavalier when I do get it on track!
